The recent refurb borrowed some smart "tiny house" techniques while also keeping some of the original seventies features. The hallway (featuring an original sixties wall lamp) gives access to the bathroom and the living room. The bathroom is fitted out with a shower, a hanging toilet and a sink as well as a washer.
Free wifi is provided as well as a Marshall speaker.
The table in the main area can be extended to a dining table that can comfortably sit 6 people. It also doubles-up as a desk. We collected a bunch interior items to give the place that little extra, like the Joe Colombo trolley, some stackable dining chairs, an original Melitta coffee set and an electric blue Cordemeyer with ottoman all from the seventies. We combined this with some Virgil Abloh for Ikea items and spruced it up with 2 multiples by David Roth.
A cosy sleeping corner was created by Atelier XS with room for a double bed, plenty of storage in a build-in hanging closet as well as some extra storage to put suitcases and bags next to the bed. The extension of the sleepcorner forms a comfortable bench with extra storage underneath. There is also a second bed hiding under the main one. This bed can be rolled out if you have a need for that extra space. Although the studio is mainly fitted for 2, it can host 4 occasionally.
The kitchen has a sink, 2 induction hubs, a combi-oven and a fridge (with a freezer compartment). However there's no dishwasher. Extra appliances include a toaster, a kettle and an Italian coffee maker. Basic utensils as well as some condiments are provided.
